FutureEd Fest 2025, the national education celebration event, returns once again with an official launch press conference. This is an event where we all come together to create innovative approaches for the future of education. This year's event features extensive collaboration from networks and education stakeholders, including networks from government agencies, private sector, and universities, as well as building upon the success stories from last year, leading to sharing inspirational stories this year.

With the success from the past year and the continuous development of innovations, four Key Pillars have emerged as the themes for designing this year's activities:
AI and Human Potential: Transforming Education
Innovation and Maker Education for Future-Ready Learners
Equity in Education: Local Solutions for Inclusive Learning
Shaping Future-Ready Schools & Lifelong Learners

The press conference was held on August 6, 2025, at Thai Public Broadcasting Service (Thai PBS) with live broadcast to expand concepts and development approaches to "create an equitable, sustainable education system that addresses the future of a changing world" more clearly by Thai PBS.
Activities in the Press Conference Include:
Keynote Activity: The Future of Learning for All By Dr. Nanthaporn Prae Seributra, President of Starfish Education Foundation and CEO Starfish Education

Panel Discussion Activity: 4 Directions, One Future: Transforming Thai Education with AI and Innovation
From 4 important perspectives:
Equity & Community by Dr. Udom Wongsing, Director, Office of Teachers and School Development, Equitable Education Fund
Future Skills & Maker by Dr. Kritsachai Somsaman, Centre Director
Southeast Asian Minister of Education Organization Regional Centre for STEM Education (SEAMEO STEM-ED)
AI-Driven Learning by Mr. Nutthapong Chandanasiri, President of the Thai Academic Association
Human-Centered Teaching by Mr. Kompakron Pianon, Darunsikkhalai School

The key highlight of the "4 Directions, One Future" discussion is to reflect approaches for transforming Thai education in the future through 4 important dimensions that harmoniously blend technology and humanity. The goal is to create a learning system that is sustainable, accessible, and connected to real life.
These "4 directions" serve as pillars of change that emphasize designing education as a system that is flexible, equitable, human-centered, and leaves no one behind on the path of lifelong learning.

Maker Fest Showcase Activity, one of the key highlights
This extends Makerspace in various projects to encourage learners to become thinkers, creators, and problem solvers through purposeful hands-on activities, connecting learning to real life. It emphasizes learner-centered approaches and creative use of community resources, which aligns with the concept of future education.

It can be seen that FutureEd Fest 2025 this year emphasizes the concepts of "Human-centered" and "Equity for all" as the core of learning design. At the same time, it uses AI as an important tool to personalize learning for each individual, helping reduce inequality and preparing learners to be ready to cope with changes in the digital age. The Students from Wat Wimuttayaram School and Darunsikkhalai School presented innovative learning projects designed and developed by students themselves. These innovations emerged from real-world problems identified by the students, who then took initiative to analyze the issues, propose solutions, and turn their ideas into practical innovations. The showcase reflects a strong commitment to fostering student agency, creativity, and problem-solving skills through hands-on, inquiry-based learning.
